REMINDER: As of April 1, 2013, financial institutions must use the new FinCEN reports, which are available only electronically through the BSA E-Filing System. FinCEN is no longer accepting legacy reports. For more information, click here.

To File a BSA report please go to the BSA E-Filing System. You will need to register to create an account on the E-Filing System prior to submitting your BSA Reports. 

To submit or renew your MSB registration, please follow these three (3) steps: 

  1. Establish an E-Filing account if you do not already have an account. To establish an E-Filing account, please visit the BSA E-Filing System by clicking here. 
  2. For initial MSB registrations, fully complete and submit an RMSB report through the BSA E-Filing System.

    For renewals, when submitting the RMSB, please check item 1b on the form to indicate registration renewal. Additionally, you will need to provide your previous registration number/BSA ID; your previous registration number/BSA ID may be viewed on FinCEN’s MSB Registrant Search Web page.

  3. Visit FinCEN's MSB Registrant Search Web page to view your MSB registration information. FinCEN no longer provides Acknowledgement Letters, but the information may be accessed on the MSB Registrant Search Web page. MSBs will be added to the MSB Registrant Search Web page approximately two (2) weeks after electronically filing their RMSB. To view a BSA report or test your batch filing program please visit us at BSA E-Filing Test System. Do not mail or electronically attempt to file a test report.
